Oh dear where do I start. Today is quite cold and Harry, our nearly two year old has cold feet. I found Hannah's Wiggle Slippers, red with a wiggles badge, a little too big for his feet and put them on him. He kept pointing to them and saying something that we couldnt understand then he said "hannah". My heart just sinks when he says her name because she never heard him say it, he says it with so much love and adoration its just heartbreaking on so many levels.
Harry lately seems to do a lot of hannaherisms. He mimicks her sweet grin at the fridge, the hands in apocket to get money out, the sitting on the chair with his hands in his lap and he bat his eyes just like she used too.
We miss you Hannah, thank you for the sweet smiles that Mummy did today when Harry put on your slippers. You buying those slippers and being all boyish was just right for you. I could never buy you pink barbie rubbish and you were so not a little lacey, frilly girl, I love you when you are grubby, face full of chocolate and your clothes all messy thats how you are, were and probably still are and always be in my heart.
Love Mummy

Its the little things I miss so much. I never took a photo of Hannah in her wiggles slippers and its one thing I will do with Harry, the smaller things in life seem to be now the biggests issues in dealing with Hannah's loss.

I bet she is getting all dirty and running free.
I'm so glad you see her gifts and she helps you keep smiling. I know your heart is aching.
Thinking of you,

It is so hard to smile Danielle but Harry needs to know how to smile and we need to remember the happy times. Its the smallest of things though that make you realise how special our children are and what they did was unique. I long to hold Hannah again but it will be sometime before that happens I can just teach Harry all about the sister and how much she loved him and everyone around her.
Thank you both for your messages.

Keep sharing your Hannah stories, they're lovely and i love reading about her. I hope she's watching harry scuff around in her slippers and smiling with at you all.

I also enjoy your stories about Hannah.
My 2nd finds it impossible to stay clean too, always picking grass out of her hair (or bum :o)) or wiping something off her dirty face, her nickname is the feral fairy ;o)
Thinking of you Kat x
I'm so glad that Harry gets to grow up in a family that will continue to tell him of Hannah. No doubt he will always remember her and getting to wear her Wiggles slippers must be very special to him.
Much love,
Lee.
